MRI Technologist - Full Time Day Shift
About the Role
Perform MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality imaging. Operate MRI units, computer systems, and contrast media injectors. Conduct quality control, safety screenings, and patient positioning, including IV access and adverse reaction assessments. Obtain clinical history, verify insurance pre-authorizations, and maintain patient confidentiality. Complete imaging procedures accurately and on time, enter patient data into systems, and assist with workflow coordination.
Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation protection, and i-STAT testing. Adhere to regulatory standards and complete required certifications, including ARRT registration and MRI credentialing within specified timeframes.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures using advanced imaging equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct quality control and safety screenings.
- Position patients accurately, including IV access and adverse reaction assessments.
- Obtain and document clinical history and verify insurance pre-authorizations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity.
- Complete imaging procedures accurately and punctually.
- Enter patient data into computer systems and assist with workflow coordination.
- Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation protection.
- Perform i-STAT testing as required.
- Adhere to certification requirements, including ARRT registration and MRI credentialing.
- Work flexibly across multiple locations as needed.
Requirements
- ARRT registered technologist.
- MRI certification (must obtain within 2 years if not already certified).
- Associate’s degree or related field.
- State licensure.
- CPR certification.
- IV training.
- Proven experience in MRI.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating MRI units and contrast media injectors.
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation protection.

- Ability to work independently and flexibly across multiple locations.
