Responsibilities

  • Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations based on physician orders, utilizing advanced MRI equipment while considering patient-specific needs.
  • Use judgment to optimize imaging techniques, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Maintain safety protocols and provide compassionate patient care during procedures.
  • Operate MRI equipment and adhere to safety standards.
  • Tailor imaging techniques to individual patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Hold required education, certification, or licensing, including Oregon MRI Technologist license or temporary license.
  • National certification from recognized bodies within specified timeframes.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • New graduates must obtain a temporary license and secure permanent licensing promptly.
