Responsibilities
- Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations based on physician orders, utilizing advanced MRI equipment while considering patient-specific needs.
- Use judgment to optimize imaging techniques, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain safety protocols and provide compassionate patient care during procedures.
- Operate MRI equipment and adhere to safety standards.
- Tailor imaging techniques to individual patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Hold required education, certification, or licensing, including Oregon MRI Technologist license or temporary license.
- National certification from recognized bodies within specified timeframes.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- New graduates must obtain a temporary license and secure permanent licensing promptly.
