About the Role

An MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures based on physician orders, utilizing advanced MRI equipment. They tailor imaging techniques to meet individual patient needs, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams in accordance with protocols and patient requirements.
• Utilize knowledge of imaging factors, techniques, and patient care to optimize results.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance during procedures.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment, adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Relevant education, certification, or license as required (Oregon MRI license or temporary license).
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within six months of hire.

New graduates must obtain a temporary license and secure permanent licensure within six months.
