About the Role
A full-time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Performing studies independently, including portable and on-call exams
- Overseeing shift operations, workflow, and prioritizing tasks
- Serving as a clinical resource, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring staff
- Ensuring proper communication with supervisors and maintaining supplies
- Assisting in developing and training new staff and students
Requirements
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR, with ARRT certification
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; preferred 5-10 years
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
