About the role
Perform high-quality MRI examinations using advanced technology, including 3T, mobile, and upright scanners, in a patient-centric environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare and educate patients for MRI procedures
- Adhere to safety protocols and monitor patient comfort
- Maintain accurate records of examinations and patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Ensure equipment quality and report any issues
- Maintain safety standards and support departmental operations
- Work effectively in various physical positions as required
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT (R) registration
- Appropriate state licensure
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency with medical imaging software
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Physical capability to lift and move patients and equipment
