About the Role
The MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI examinations using advanced technology, including 3T, mobile, and upright scanners, in a patient-centered environment. They operate equipment safely, prepare and educate patients, and ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI scans across all age groups, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Maintain equipment, perform quality control, and ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Assist in patient positioning, education, and comfort during procedures.
- Support departmental operations and adhere to safety and infection control practices.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Registration with ARRT (R) and ARMRIT (or obtain within 1 year).
- Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
- Current BLS certification.
- 0-2 years of modality-specific experience; 1+ year of X-Ray preferred.

- Physical ability to lift, move, and perform repetitive motions.
- Good vision and hearing acuity.
