About the role
Perform high-quality MRI examinations using advanced equipment, including 3T, mobile, and upright scanners, in a patient-centric environment. Operate MRI systems safely, prepare and educate patients, and ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members, maintain equipment, and provide accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations using 3T, mobile, and upright scanners
- Operate MRI systems safely and efficiently
- Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Maintain MRI equipment and perform routine checks
- Document procedures and patient information accurately
- Assist in lifting and moving patients and equipment as needed
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration
- South Carolina state licensure
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Strong communication and technical skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations effectively
- Physical capability to lift and move patients and equipment
- Good visual and auditory acuity
