MRI Technologist - Night Shift

About the role

Perform high-quality MRI examinations using advanced equipment, including 3T, mobile, and upright scanners, in a patient-centric environment. Operate MRI systems safely, prepare and educate patients, and ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members, maintain equipment, and provide accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations using 3T, mobile, and upright scanners
• Operate MRI systems safely and efficiently
• Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Maintain MRI equipment and perform routine checks
• Document procedures and patient information accurately
• Assist in lifting and moving patients and equipment as needed

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration
• South Carolina state licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong communication and technical skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations effectively
• Physical capability to lift and move patients and equipment
• Good visual and auditory acuity
