About the role
We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to provide high-quality clinical imaging services, ensure patient safety, and assist physicians during examinations.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures following department protocols and maintain equipment quality.
- Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history, explain procedures, and alleviate anxiety.
- Assist in examinations using sterile techniques and knowledge of IVs and central lines.
- Serve as a resource to students and colleagues.
- Perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment.
- Adhere to safety standards and hospital policies to optimize patient care and image quality.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography, nuclear medicine, or MRI program.
- MRI certification from ARMIT, CAMRT, or ARRT eligible.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Skills
Preferred prior experience in diagnostic radiology or MRI in a healthcare setting.
