MRI Technologist (MRI Tech)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to provide high-quality clinical imaging services, ensure patient safety, and assist physicians during examinations.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures following department protocols and maintain equipment quality.
• Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history, explain procedures, and alleviate anxiety.
• Assist in examinations using sterile techniques and knowledge of IVs and central lines.
• Serve as a resource to students and colleagues.
• Perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards and hospital policies to optimize patient care and image quality.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography, nuclear medicine, or MRI program.
• MRI certification from ARMIT, CAMRT, or ARRT eligible.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Skills

Preferred prior experience in diagnostic radiology or MRI in a healthcare setting.
