MRI Technologist-Inpatient and Outpatient-Full Time, Part Time & PRN-Sign On Bonus Potential

Location: Inpatient (Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital) and Outpatient (various facilities throughout the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, King George, and Stafford areas). Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available with various shifts. Relocation assistance offered for full-time hires 50+ miles from Fredericksburg. Sign-on bonus available for full-time and part-time roles.

Requirements

• Minimum of three months experience in MRI
• Advanced level certification by the ARRT or ARMRIT in MRI required within one year of hire date
• American Heart Association CPR certification
• Constant (67-100% of workday) use of arms and hands
• Frequent (34-66% of workday) standing, walking, sitting
• Occasional (0-33% of workday) bending and squatting
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Ability to push and pull up to 20 lbs.
• Auditory and visual skills, including color determination
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Capacity to cope with difficult situations and tolerate irregular hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends

Environmental Requirements and Exposure Hazards

• Risk of exposure to radiation and toxic chemicals
• Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• For MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to work in the MRI environment (Zones 3 & 4) at all times

Pay

• PRN Flat Rate: $53.00
• Compensation Pay Range: $39.44 - $59.15
