MRI Technologist-Inpatient and Outpatient-Full Time, Part Time & PRN-Sign On Bonus Potential

Location: Inpatient (Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital) and Outpatient (various facilities through the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, King George, and Stafford areas). Full Time, Part Time, and PRN positions available with various shifts. Relocation assistance offered for Full Time hires 50+ miles from Fredericksburg. Sign-on bonus available for Full Time and Part Time.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Minimum of three months experience in MRI.
• Advanced level certification by the ARRT or ARMRIT in MRI required within one year of hire date.
• American Heart Association CPR certification required.
• Supervisor positions available.

Physical Requirements

• Constant (67-100% of workday) use of arms and hands.
• Frequent (34-66% of workday) standing, walking, sitting.
• Occasional (0-33% of workday) bending and squatting.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Ability to push and pull up to 20 lbs.
• Auditory and visual skills, including color determination.

Environmental Requirements and Exposure Hazards

• Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• For MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to work in the MRI environment (Zones 3 & 4) at all times.

Pay

PRN Flat Rate: $53.00 per hour. Full Time and Part Time pay range: $39.44 - $59.15 per hour.
