About the role
Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment, produce diagnostic images, and ensure patient safety and comfort during scans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient interviews and remove metallic objects prior to scans
- Adhere to radiologist protocols to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety
- Operate MRI equipment and produce diagnostic images
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
- Follow established protocols to support radiological procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of MRI experience
- ARRT-MR certification within one year of hire
- Valid New York State radiology license
