MRI Technologist II - Evenings

Position Highlights

SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000

What You Will Do

• Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures.
• Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high-quality exam.
• Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice.
• Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What You Will Need

• A High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• IEMA licensure (preferred)
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience (preferred)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software

Pay

$35.35 - $54.79 per hour, determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
