About the role
The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. This role requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort. The MRI Technologist collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate, timely imaging services while maintaining compliance with all MRI safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate, timely imaging services.
- Maintain compliance with all MRI safety and quality standards.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)) required.
- Current MRI certification through ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's Degree required. Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Radiologic Technology required.
- Previous MRI experience in a hospital or imaging center setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety practices and protocols.
- Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills.

Pay
Pay Range: $37.00 – $59.00 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
Schedule
(2:30PM –11:00PM) Monday - Friday
Rotation: Weekend Every 3rd Week (10pm - 6am) / On-call Holiday rotation
