Responsibilities
- Counsels patients on MRI procedures.
- Selects appropriate technical factors for MRI scans.
- Supports invasive procedures under MRI guidance.
- Maintains safety protocols, screens patients, and ensures proper positioning.
- Documents care activities and educates patients on procedures.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
- Performs equipment quality control and manages departmental supplies.
- Escalates issues as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's degree or accredited MRI certification.
- 3-4 years of MRI experience, including ability to independently perform protocols.
- ARRMIT or ARRT (MRI) certification required; BLS certification upon hire.
- Knowledge of anatomy, MRI physics, and patient care.
- Ability to work under stress.
