About the role

MRI Technologist II responsible for performing routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures with clinical competency across various patient populations.

Key Duties

  • Counsels patients on MRI procedures, prepares them for the examination, and addresses their concerns.
  • Administers contrast agents and supports invasive procedures as needed.
  • Maintains safety protocols and ensures the quality of MRI equipment.
  • Manages supplies and ensures proper inventory levels.
  • Prioritizes patient flow and documents activities accurately.

Qualifications

  • Requires an associate's degree or accredited MRI/Radiologic Technology certificate.
  • Has 3-4 years MRI experience.
  • Must hold ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification.
  • BLS certification is also necessary.

Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of MRI principles, anatomy, and safety standards.
  • Ability to operate MRI equipment and work under stress.
  • Ability to learn and understand anatomical and pathological presentations.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to ethical standards.
