About the role
Full-Time CT Scan Technologist I responsible for performing MRI procedures, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI units and related computer systems with proficiency.
- Conduct MRI procedures, quality control, and safety screenings.
- Verify patient information, obtain clinical history, and secure consent.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and use patient identifiers appropriately.
- Assess patient status, manage contrast media injectors, and perform i-STAT testing.
- Coordinate workflow and assist with patient care activities.
Requirements
- ARRT Registered Technologist with MRI certification required within two years of hire.
- Experience in MR technology and radiologic procedures.
- State Licensure in Radiation Protection and CPR certification.
- Completion of accredited radiologic technology program and cross-sectional anatomy training.
- Ability to obtain IV access and proficiency in contrast media use.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and locations.
