MRI Technologist - Outpatient

About the Role

This is a full-time MRI Technologist position in an outpatient setting, responsible for performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients to support diagnosis and treatment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and ensuring quality control.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and other advanced imaging modalities such as CT, Mammography, or Bone Density.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Conduct imaging studies independently, including portable and on-call exams.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MRI.
• Preferred experience of less than two years in medical imaging or related fields.
• Licenses and certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, or equivalent; CPR and IV Therapy certifications are advantageous.
