MRI Technologist I or II - Full-Time

About the role

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist I performs routine MR procedures, including common and specialty exams of moderate complexity, independently assisting physicians with diagnostic and specialized MR procedures. They deliver high-quality patient care, ensure safety standards, and follow established guidelines. This role involves working in inpatient, emergency, and hybrid operating room settings with advanced equipment such as 1.5 & 3.0T GE and Siemens systems. The Technologist I collaborates with the imaging team to support state-of-the-art protocols across various specialties.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialty MR exams accurately and independently
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and advanced MR procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Follow established imaging standards and guidelines
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality imaging services

Requirements

• Completion of MRI training program, including UTMB MR Training Program
• 0+ years of experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification or registry-eligible (must obtain within 6 months)
