Responsibilities
- Perform MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages while maintaining patient safety.
- Follow mobile MRI machine between Twinsburg and Sports Health.
- Work days: 7:00am—3:30pm or 9:30am—6:00pm.
- Achieve and review patient questionnaire, chart, and data/requisition to determine contraindications of MRI examinations.
- Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and conduct daily QA.
- Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.
- Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
- Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions, reporting problems or calls for service.
- Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility.
- Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.
- Attend in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), or R.T.(S)(ARRT), or R.T.(T)(ARRT), in good standing.
- Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(N) (ARRT) in good standing or be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (ARDMS and NMTCB are primary pathways).
- Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.T.(MR)(ARRT) (required within one year of hire).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certification.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.
Qualifications
- One year experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or experience in other imaging modalities.
- Physical Requirements: Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily. Requires frequent pushing and pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds.
- Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay
Pay Range Minimum hourly: $35.25 Maximum hourly: $53.00
A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).
