We are seeking a Senior MRI Technologist for a full-time role in an operating room setting, primarily on a day shift with no call requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced interventional and surgical MRI procedures using Siemens MRI machines
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
- Work independently or in portable and on-call situations
- Maintain regulatory compliance and oversee quality assurance
- Participate in safety and process improvement initiatives
- Mentor new staff or students
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher
- Certification as a Registered Technologist (R.T.) in Radiography and/or MR
- At least 2 years of MRI or OR experience
Skills
- Experience in MRI and operating room environments
- Additional certifications such as CPR and IV therapy (preferred)
- Strong technical skills, critical thinking, and leadership abilities
