About the Role
The MRI Staff Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images for physicians, under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Selects appropriate imaging techniques
- Operates console and peripheral hardware
- Monitors patient data
- Transfers images to PACS
- Ensures accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technologist Program
- Valid ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
- BLS certification
- Relevant experience
- Skills in IV insertion
- Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy
- Technical proficiency in medical scanning

- Lifts and transports patients
- Maintains continual standing or walking
- Adapts to stressful situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least one year of relevant experience
- Advanced MRI registry
