MRI Technologist - Full Time Day

About the Role

Demonstrate proficiency in performing MRI imaging exams for all ages and adhere to safety procedures. This position may require floating to off-site locations, working rotating weekends and holidays, and occasional travel to other locations to support operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment and prepare patients for procedures.
  • Ensure sufficient diagnostic information is obtained for physician review.
  • Perform intravenous therapy, contrast selection, and injection.
  • Prepare and enter written documentation, including informed consent.
  • Assist in patient management and present images to physicians for diagnosis.
  • Support prolonged periods of sitting, walking, lifting, pulling, positioning, and transferring patients.
  • Comply with respiratory protection requirements, which may prohibit facial hair.
  • Serve as an "essential" employee during institutional emergencies, remaining on-site or reporting to work as required.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.
  • ARRT/NYSDOH License.
  • Current BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Certification to perform contrast injections.
  • Specialized training in MRI Technology and cross-sectional anatomy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MRI Certification.

Pay

$55.36 - $64.11 per hour, based on relevant experience.

Schedule

Full-time, including rotating weekends and holidays.
