Role Overview
The Advanced MRI Technologist operates MRI imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment, ensuring high-quality images while maintaining patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment and software to acquire diagnostic images.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and providing emotional support.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and imaging standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with completed clinical hours.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience; MRI Haitichi experience preferred.
- State licensure may be required; ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, and BLS required.
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and imaging software.
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs, and perform prolonged standing, walking, and various physical movements necessary for the role.
