About the Role
We are seeking an MRI Technologist to operate high field strength MRI equipment and produce specialized radiographic images.
Responsibilities
- Screen patients for MRI safety
- Assist radiologists with procedures
- Administer contrast media
- Evaluate scan quality
- Schedule patients and maintain accurate records
- Provide training to new technologists and students
- Position patients using immobilization and protective equipment
- Operate MRI protocols and coordinate patient flow across multiple sites
- Contribute to protocol development and support research
- Teach MRI techniques to physicians, technologists, and researchers
- Perform complex tasks related to MRI operation, image processing, and equipment management
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited program in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or related fields
- Certification in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or related fields
- MRI registry required within 18 months of hire
- Experience varies: entry-level to senior roles, with a minimum of two years for certain positions and four years for advanced roles
- BLS certification required
