About the Role
The Advanced MRI Technologist operates MRI imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. They ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals. The role requires proficiency in imaging technology, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment and software to produce diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
- Maintain imaging standards and accuracy
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with clinical experience
- Certification: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT; BLS certification
- State licensure may be required
- Strong skills in operating imaging equipment and software
- Excellent communication skills and patient care ability
- Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical movements
