MRI Technologist – Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Interpret physicians' scanning instructions and prepare patients for MRI and MRA procedures.
  • Perform quality assurance to maintain accreditation standards.
  • Transmit images to PACS and manage documentation.
  • Enter orders, verify billing accuracy, and maintain equipment inventory.
  • Troubleshoot MRI equipment and coordinate with service engineers.
  • Provide patient care and effective communication with clinical staff.
  • Participate in department meetings and adhere to safety and compliance protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI, with advanced MRI certification and Ohio licensure.
  • BLS certification.
  • Hospital-based MRI and MRA experience, including call rotations.
  • Proficiency in image transmission, documentation, and billing verification.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and basic clerical skills.
  • Ability to perform quality assurance and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
