Responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images in compliance with industry regulations.
- Interpret physicians' scanning instructions and prepare patients for MRI and MRA procedures.
- Perform quality assurance to maintain accreditation standards.
- Transmit images to PACS and manage documentation.
- Enter orders, verify billing accuracy, and maintain equipment inventory.
- Troubleshoot MRI equipment and coordinate with service engineers.
- Provide patient care and effective communication with clinical staff.
- Participate in department meetings and adhere to safety and compliance protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI, with advanced MRI certification and Ohio licensure.
- BLS certification.
- Hospital-based MRI and MRA experience, including call rotations.
- Proficiency in image transmission, documentation, and billing verification.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and basic clerical skills.
- Ability to perform quality assurance and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
