About the Role
Perform MRI and MRA procedures, interpret physicians' instructions, and create diagnostic images in compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for MRI and MRA procedures
- Operate MRI scanners and transmit images to PACS
- Perform quality assurance to maintain accreditation standards
- Manage inventory of supplies and equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues
- Enter orders and verify billing accuracy
- Assist with patient transport and documentation
- Attend departmental meetings
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI
- MRI advanced certification
- State licensure
- BLS certification
- Hospital MRI/MRA experience
- Ability to perform quality assurance and transmit images
- Equipment troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication with staff and patients
