About the Role

Perform MRI and MRA procedures, interpret physicians' instructions, and create diagnostic images in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and position patients for MRI and MRA procedures
  • Operate MRI scanners and transmit images to PACS
  • Perform quality assurance to maintain accreditation standards
  • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Enter orders and verify billing accuracy
  • Assist with patient transport and documentation
  • Attend departmental meetings
  • Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards

Qualifications & Skills

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI
  • MRI advanced certification
  • State licensure
  • BLS certification
  • Hospital MRI/MRA experience
  • Ability to perform quality assurance and transmit images
  • Equipment troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication with staff and patients
