About the role
Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to support diagnosis and treatment, utilizing independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Responsibilities
- Conducts MRI scans, ensuring accurate imaging.
- May require completing additional training such as the MIC MRI Cross-Trainer if not already registered.
- Maintains knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and adheres to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Preferably experienced MRI technologist with advanced MRI certification or registry eligibility.
- At least one year of experience in Radiology or MRI departments is preferred.
- Must possess current BLS certification.
Licensure & Certification
- Preferably certified via ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT.
- Must pass the advanced MRI certification exam within one year of employment.
