About the role
Maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.
- Perform MRI scans according to established protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and record keeping.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for MRI scans.
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor patient conditions during scans and intervene as necessary.
- Document patient information and scan results accurately.
- Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current state certification as an MRI technologist.
- Experience in MRI scanning preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Proficient in using MRI equipment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
