About the role
Under the direction of the Director/Manager of Radiology Services, is responsible for the acquisition of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans of patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes, utilizing advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording and analysis systems. Provides high quality MRI scans through operation of specialized equipment which ensures optimum diagnostic clarity for physician interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Acquire MRI scans of patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes.
- Utilize advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording and analysis systems.
- Operate specialized equipment to ensure high quality MRI scans.
- Ensure optimum diagnostic clarity for physician interpretation.
Requirements
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- MRI registration by the ARRT within two years of hire/transfer to the position.
Qualifications
- Licensure/Certification: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Skills
- Proficiency in MRI equipment operation.
- Ability to interpret and analyze digital images.
- Knowledge of computer-assisted imaging systems.

Pay
- $37.28 - $54.20 / hour.
Schedule
- Day/Eve Rotation.
- Shift Start/End: Days/Evenings/Days/Evenings.
- Hours Per Pay Period: 48.
