MRI Technician
About the role
As a MRI Technician at Central Carolina Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to support the diagnostic needs of patients.
Responsibilities
- Performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures and produces images for interpretation by a radiologist.
- Follows departmental protocols, policies and procedures and established standards of practice.
- Affectionately assesses and monitors patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Demonstrates competency in MRI safety practices, including screening patients for contraindications before scanning.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited school.
- ARRT Certification in Radiography within six months of hire.
- ARRT Certification in MRI within six months of hire.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
