MRI Tech - Per Diem

About the role

Performs MRI examinations on patients utilizing specialized x-ray and computer systems.

Delivers quality care commensurate with the age of the patient population for the designated area.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes specialized x-ray and computer systems to perform MRI examinations on patients.
• Ensures adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Communicates effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Advises patients on preparation for MRI examinations.
• Documents patient information accurately and securely.

Requirements

• HS/equivalent graduate required.
• Successful graduate from an AMA approved Radiology program.
• Registered by ARRT, MRI certification.
• BLS required.
• Previous MRI experience required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work rotating shifts.
• Must have flexible availability to accommodate departmental needs.

• Proficiency with MRI equipment and systems.
• Effective communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
