MRI Tech - Per Diem

About the role

Performs MRI examinations on patients utilizing specialized x-ray and computer systems.

Delivers quality care commensurate with the age of the patient population for the designated area.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes specialized x-ray and computer systems for MRI examinations.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
• Documents patient information accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Adheres to infection control protocols and maintains sterile environments.
• Communicates effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• HS/equivalent graduate required.
• Successful graduate from an AMA approved Radiology program.
• Registered by ARRT, MRI certification.
• BLS required.
• Previous MRI experience required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work rotating shifts.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Proficient in using MRI equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
