MRI Tech Per Diem

About the role

As an MRI Tech Per Diem with Portsmouth Regional Hospital, you will be part of an organization dedicated to giving back. You will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, explain the procedure to patients, and ensure proper film identification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols
• Evaluate quality of MRI procedure and determine if additional imaging is required
• Communicate procedure information to radiologists
• Participate in on-call duties as assigned

Requirements

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT Registered
• Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Two years’ experience as MRI technologist in a hospital environment preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or accredited MRI program preferred

Qualifications
