About the role

Perform highly accurate imaging procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.

Educate and prepare patients for procedures, including pre-screening and clear communication, while strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols.

Guarantee patient safety and data integrity by ensuring all images and documents are promptly and accurately submitted to the PACS system.

Manage patient records and imaging data, utilizing the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and PACS to ensure seamless information flow.

Maintain peak performance of imaging equipment by conducting regular checks and promptly reporting malfunctions to technical support.

Requirements

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Additional Preferences: 2 YEARS OF RECENT MRI IMAGING EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required:
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonograph (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program preferred.
