Job Responsibilities
- Complies with infection prevention procedures
- Utilizes safety and reliability practices and standards
- Upholds all other compliance protocols and practices
- Demonstrates flexibility and/or initiative in seeking or accepting additional assignments
- Supports team and department operations assisting with care of equipment, coordinating with technologists the flow of patients throughout the process
- Assists other team members when their assignment is slow, finds work to do in the department or flexes off if needed
- Works effectively with patients and families to provide patient care, schedules patient appointments, and performs patient observation, patient transport and assists patients with personal needs
- Recognizes status changes, calls for appropriate assistance, and notifies manager as appropriate
- Participates in ensuring reliable performance and assessment of equipment, performing required daily and monthly quality control procedures prior to use
- Recognizes the need for corrective action and notifies the Supervisor
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an approved program for specific field of study in Allied Health
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) CPR
- Radiation Safety
- Up to 1 year experience
