About the role
Capture high-quality diagnostic images by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters to ensure accurate pathology detection.
Advocate for patient safety by strictly following radiation protection guidelines and conducting thorough pre-screening and education to ease patient anxiety.
Execute seamless data management by verifying image quality, markers, and histories before submission to PACS, ensuring the diagnostic team has everything they need for a clear read.
Maintain a high-standard clinical environment by monitoring equipment performance and coordinating the readiness of procedure rooms to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality diagnostic images by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters to ensure accurate pathology detection.
- Advocate for patient safety by strictly following radiation protection guidelines and conducting thorough pre-screening and education to ease patient anxiety.
- Execute seamless data management by verifying image quality, markers, and histories before submission to PACS, ensuring the diagnostic team has everything they need for a clear read.
- Maintain a high-standard clinical environment by monitoring equipment performance and coordinating the readiness of procedure rooms to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
- In addition, associate will have to be a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- In addition, associate will have to be a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. This credential is accepted in lieu of the required ARRT licenses.
Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
