Who We Are
Job Summary
Position Summary:
Performs diagnostic MRI examinations, following radiologist' protocols, for evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Provides radiologist with pertinent clinical information. Demonstrates complete working knowledge of MRI scanner and related equipment. Performs routine protocols and positions patients correctly using appropriate coils. Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. Meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence.
Qualifications
Education
EDUCATION:
- Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technology
- Associate's Degree preferred
Experience
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years experience in MRI preferred
- OR
- ARMRIT certified with 2 years of clinical experience in MRI required
Certification/Licenses/Registration/Experience
- Florida License
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Must be ARRT registered; certification in MRI must be obtained within 1 year of hire into the position.
