Position Overview
About the role
Join our busy outpatient imaging clinic in Lakeville, MN, as a skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist. Perform high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort with exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures per established protocols and physician orders
- Accurate patient identification, screening, and preparation
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor patients and respond to concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation within Epic (Excellian)
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report issues
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
- First-time travelers welcome
- Current certification in ARMRIT or ARRT (MR)
- Current BLS Certification
- Experience with Epic (Excellian) electronic medical records
- Experience with Siemens Altea 1.5T MRI software/equipment preferred
Schedule
Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM
Saturday - Sunday: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM
Weekend Requirement: Yes, based on department needs
On-Call Requirement: No
Block Scheduling Available: No
Benefits
Pending licenses not accepted
Clinician will not float outside their assigned scope of practice
Requested Time Off: Ideally no more than 5 days
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
- First-time travelers welcome
- Current certification in ARMRIT or ARRT (MR)
- Current BLS Certification
- Experience with Epic (Excellian) electronic medical records
- Experience with Siemens Altea 1.5T MRI software/equipment preferred
Skills
Proficiency with Epic charting systems and Siemens MRI equipment is required.
