Responsibilities
- Utilize magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to assist physicians in diagnosing disease.
- Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations under the direct guidance of a Radiologist.
- Provide patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Adhere to all safety requirements for magnetic fields.
- Perform advanced MR imaging procedures and demonstrate competence in cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
- Offer more complex technical care based on patient needs.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or graduate of a JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
- One year of experience as an MRI Technologist required.
- ARRT Radiography Certification (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR).
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
