About the role
This position requires experience in performing MRI examinations on patients with prostate, breast, cardiac, and full-body scans. The role is based at the outpatient Women's Center and operates Monday through Friday, with shifts ranging from 06:45 AM to 3:15 PM and 08:30 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding weekends.
Responsibilities
- Utilize magnetic resonance imaging techniques to diagnose diseases under the supervision of radiologists.
- Perform diagnostic MRI examinations for various anatomical and physiological conditions.
- Provide comprehensive patient care across different age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Adhere to magnetic safety protocols and guidelines.
- Execute advanced MRI procedures and demonstrate proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
- Offer specialized technical care tailored to individual patient needs.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
- At least one year of experience as an MRI technologist.
- ARRT Radiography Certification (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Advanced certification in MRI from the ARRT.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification upon hire.
Schedule
Mondays through Fridays, with shifts from 06:45 AM to 3:15 PM and 08:30 AM to 5:00 PM, no weekends.
