About the role
Provides 24/7 emergency care and ambulatory services to patients in need. Works closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patient conditions and provides initial treatment as necessary
- Coordinates with medical staff for further evaluation and treatment
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintains accurate patient records and communicates with family members or guardians as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
- Current certification in EMT-B or higher
- Experience in emergency and/or ambulatory care settings
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Passion for providing high-quality patient care
Skills
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
