Operate advanced scanning equipment to capture high-quality, cross-sectional diagnostic images that directly inform critical patient treatment plans.
Prepare and educate patients
Prepare and educate patients thoroughly before their examinations, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well-informed about their care journey.
Manage imaging data workflows
- Accurately process and transfer scans to PACS
- Sustain seamless continuity of care for the medical team
Maintain safety and quality protocols
- Protect patients and staff
- Ensure all imaging equipment functions at peak performance
Minimum Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s)
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- One or more of the following:
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Sonography specialty also accepted.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
Additional Preferences
