Qualifications
- Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
- Required Education: High School Diploma or GED, and Vocational Training.
- Specific course work: Graduate from Radiologic Technology School.
- PREFERRED EDUCATION: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Necessary Skills:
- Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to provide physical and/or psychological support to patients.
- REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:
- A.R.R.T. certification with Florida Radiographer License or ARMRIT certification MRI Certification within 12 months from the date of hire
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: One to two years in computerized imaging, or graduate of a post-secondary MRI certification program.
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Less than 1 year Cardiac Imaging.
