Responsibilities
- Utilize magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to assist physicians in diagnosing disease.
- Perform diagnostic MR examinations under the direct guidance of a Radiologist.
- Provide patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Adhere to all safety requirements for magnetic fields.
- Perform advanced MR imaging procedures and demonstrate competence in cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
- Offer more complex technical care based on patient needs.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
- One year experience as an MRI Technologist
- ARRT Radiography Certification (R)
- ARRT MRI Certification (MR)
- BLS - Basic Life Support
