BJC HealthCare System is seeking a Full-Time Radiology Supervisor for MRI Support Services for Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO).

Position Details: Day Shift : Monday-Friday (8am – 4:30pm)

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MRAssociate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
  • MR Certification
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • 2 years of leadership and/or supervisor experience

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services. MRI at NWHC has a Siemens 1.5T Magnetom Symphony scanner. The procedure room has a large window making the room bright & has a very open feeling. MRI offers same day service.

Role Purpose

Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of primary departments of responsibility, which may include Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Mammography, Interventional, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound.

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans.
  • Maintains and organizes department resources to maximize productivity and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Serves as liaison between staff and physicians.
  • Evaluates the care and testing delivered and intervenes appropriately to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals.
  • This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 2-5 years Supervisor Experience
  • Licenses & Certifications: Cert/Lic in Area of Expertise

Preferred Requirements

  • Education: Associate's Degree
  • Experience: 5-10 years Supervisor Experience
  • Licenses & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary ResuscitationIEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
