MRF Mechanic Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Interpret failure modes and initiate or assign necessary repairs.
• Assist with emergency breakdowns, including on-call duties as required.
• Apply knowledge in welding, fabrication, high-voltage electrical (480V), and hydraulics (pumps and motors).
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Work on conveyors, belts, and MRF (Material Recovery Facility) equipment.
• Maintain legible records and reports, and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Adhere to physical and safety requirements of the position.
• Comply with applicable OSHA standards and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
• Must provide own tools.

Pay

Salary range: USD $26.00–$35.00 per hour.
