MR Fusion Specialist/MRI Technologist/Ultrasound Technologist

About the role

United Medical Systems, a national leader in mobile medical services, is seeking medical imaging professionals with MRI, Ultrasound, or Radiologic Technology/Interventional experience for a Full-Time MR Fusion Biopsy Specialist position. Our specialists travel to various hospitals in their assigned region to provide the MR Fusion device and support Urologists during MR Fusion Prostate Biopsy procedures in the OR. This role involves overseeing logistical and clinical needs for the route, preparing for procedures, and assisting Urologists with the fusion of MRI mapping to live ultrasound capture in a 3D environment. Extensive training on the fusion device and ultrasound will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Urology offices to confirm upcoming schedules.
• Obtain MRI mappings from Radiology teams (remotely via the Cloud).
• Travel to facilities to deliver equipment prior to procedures.
• Provide technical and clinical support to Urologists during MR Fusion Prostate Biopsy procedures, including fusing MRI mapping to live ultrasound capture and navigating in a 3D environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in MRI, Ultrasound, or Radiologic Technology/Interventional procedures.
• Enjoyment of new technology and independent work.
• Willingness to travel (some overnight travel may be required).
