MR Fusion Specialist/MRI Technologist/Ultrasound Technologist

About the role
United Medical Systems, a national leader in mobile medical services, is seeking medical imaging professionals with MRI, Ultrasound, or Radiologic Technology/Interventional experience for a Full-Time MR Fusion Biopsy Specialist role. This position involves traveling to various hospitals in an assigned region to provide MR Fusion devices and support Urologists during MR Fusion Prostate Biopsy procedures in the OR. MR Fusion Biopsy is a revolutionary procedure for earlier and more accurate prostate cancer detection. Specialists work independently, overseeing logistical and clinical needs for their route.
Extensive training will be provided for operating the fusion device and ultrasound. Some overnight travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with Urology offices to confirm upcoming schedule.
- Obtain MRI Mappings from Radiology teams (remotely via the Cloud).
- Travel to facilities to deliver equipment prior to procedures.
- Provide technical and clinical support to Urologists during procedures, including fusing MRI Mapping to live Ultrasound capture and navigating in a 3D environment with the Fusion device.
This position does not involve performing MRI scans but focuses on assisting with the fusion process.
Qualifications
- 2-year degree required.
- Experience in MRI, Ultrasound, or Radiologic Technology/Interventional roles.

Pay
Guaranteed 80 hours per pay period (two-week pay periods).
Schedule
Full-time, flexible, and changing schedule. Travel expenses and hotel stays reimbursed.
