As a General Worker in MPI’s Job Shop Fabrication and Machining operation, you will assist with plant operations, equipment servicing, repairs, maintenance, and safety compliance while contributing to a fast‑paced, collaborative start‑up environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal safety and the safety of team members; assist supervisors in maintaining a safe work environment; wear appropriate PPE (fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head, eye protection); keep assigned work area clean and promote the McWane Way.
• Operate production machinery or assist machine operators.
• Saw cut ductile iron pipe (3″–48″ diameter, 1‑ft to 20‑ft lengths) using specified equipment and tools.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or with hoists and forklift trucks.
• Paint completed products.
• Stack, crate, and secure items for shipment.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Observe and inspect equipment and operations to ensure proper functioning.
• Count finished products to verify order completeness.
